The three material issues

The Sekisui House Group has declared “making home the happiest place in the world” as its global vision, and as one of the goals toward the realization of that vision, we seek to become a leading company in ESG management.


In order to achieve this goal, in June 2020 we established a new “ESG Management Promotion Headquarters,”and lay out three material issues such as high-quality housing stock, contributing to a sustainable society, and diversity and inclusion.

With respect to diversity, we are advancing initiatives under three themes: “Active participation of diverse personnel,” “Building the foundations for happiness,” and “Promoting diverse workstyles.” We believe that these initiatives will foster a workplace with a high degree of psychological safety, lead to the creation of value through diverse capabilities, and ultimately contribute to the happiness of our employees.
