Active Participation of Diverse Personnel
Sekisui House is committed to providing more opportunities for diverse personnel to demonstrate their abilities through their work. Our initiatives include cultivating an LGBTQ-friendly corporate culture and promoting the employment of people with disabilities, as well as setting up systems and programs that enable employees to shift from general office work to career-track positions. We also employ many foreign nationals, primarily in our international business. Sekisui House will continue to take on challenges on the global stage, by collaborating with our diverse personnel of varied nationalities and cultural backgrounds.
We are engaged in such initiatives as the sale of custom detached houses, development of planned communities and condominiums in five countries, namely America, Australia, the UK, China, and Singapore. By utilizing the technology, experience, achievements, and so on for safety, peace of mind, and comfort, which we have cultivated within Japan, we are expanding our business operations not only to contribute to solving the social problems of various countries but also to contribute to the maximization of happiness among our customers and society at large and to the provision of new value to housing. In order to expand our diverse business on a global scale, we are putting great effort into constructing relationships of trust with our excellent local partners abroad and training brilliant local personnel who share the corporate philosophy and vision of the Sekisui House Group.
The Human Rights Policy applies to all executive officers and employees in the Sekisui Group, and it underpins our initiatives that respect the human rights of all stakeholders involved in our business activities (customers, clients, employees, business partners, etc.).
Through our initiatives that respect human rights, we are putting great effort into building workplaces where each and every employee can thrive.
Through training targeting all employees, we are proactively pursuing initiatives intended to allow members of sexual minorities to work with peace of mind.
