Instilling Sekisui House Products and Philosophy Into the Housing Culture in Australia
I currently hold the position of General Manger for The Hermitage (a large-scale lot), SHAWOOD (wood-framed houses) and Multi-Residential Construction Projects. More than 20% of the Japanese and Australian team I lead are Japanese nationals. I feel this healthy mix of cultural backgrounds and values makes for a lively team dynamic and cohesion, opens up new possibilities, and boosts our ability to tackle and resolve issues. I’m committed to making Sekisui House’s guiding philosophies of sustainability and customer centric products more widely and deeply entrenched in Australia, in a way that transcends the differences in the Japanese and Australian housing cultures and markets. I’d also like to cultivate authentic communities that are comfortable, safe and environmentally responsible.
