Expanding Further Into the North America Market with Eco-friendly Housing

I decided to join NASH because SHL’s commitment to building sustainable communities also aligned with my passion to work in a sustainable real estate business. I initially played an integral role managing the feasibility of multifamily projects. The multifamily business is now one of the main businesses in NASH, with 50 projects and over 14,000 houses in total to date. Seeing the plans you’ve been working on so hard come to fruition before your eyes is what makes the real estate development business so appealing. I feel the work I do is really rewarding. I’m excited to apply Sekisui House’s unique technologies to keep expanding our business into the U.S. market.

Sekisui House in North America has been working with excellent partners in the residential land development business, multifamily business, and the homebuilding business. We are developing various projects in North America, including the Griffin development in Los Angeles. As environmental laws continue to advance and interest grows in sustainable home environments, we are moving ahead with various initiatives such as the introduction of locally-adapted prefabricated housing and the development and popularization of a North American version of ZEH in the custom detached houses business.
