Selected for Silver Class in RobecoSAM’s sustainability ratings for the 5th consecutive year following 3 years of consecutive Gold Class

Sekisui House, Ltd. was selected for the Sliver Class in the Homebuilding category of the SAM Sustainability Award 2020 for the second consecutive year. Headquartered in Switzerland, RobecoSAM AG (S&P Global Inc.) is a class assessor of socially responsible investment (SRI).
This is the fifth consecutive year that Sekisui House has been selected, following three consecutive years of Gold Class since 2016.

In RobecoSAM's assessment, over 3,200 of the world's largest companies in 61 industries are evaluated for their economic, environmental and social practices, and the top-scoring 15% of companies are selected as the most sustainable companies (59 of which were from Japan). Among them, companies with the highest ratings are selected for the Gold Class (2 of which were from Japan), Silver Class (7 of which were from Japan), and Bronze Class (9 of which were from Japan).

Sekisui House has also been selected as a constituent of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World) for the fourth year running, and the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index (DJSI Asia Pacific) for the third consecutive year. Compiled by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC in the United States and RobecoSAM, these indices evaluate sustainability of companies on their economic, environmental and social performance.
